In 2012, a battery research survey was conducted by the German Stiftung Warentest organization in conjunction with the ADAC association and the German Automobile Club. Banner batteries were awarded a "Very Good" rating (1.4) in the test evaluation. The factory located in Linz, Austria, continues to maintain high quality in accordance with ISO9001, QS9000, and VDA6.1 requirements.
The M42R battery is primarily designed for modern vehicles equipped with "Eco Idle" or "Stop-Start" systems. These vehicles automatically shut off the engine when stationary (e.g., at traffic lights) to save fuel and restart it instantly when the driver presses the accelerator.
Suitable Cars: Perodua Myvi G4 (2022 Model) , Aruz, etc.
Technology: It uses EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery) technology, which is more durable than standard batteries to handle the frequent engine cranking required by start-stop systems.
